These terms govern the use of Berin, the context-aware training app for iPhone, and of this website. Berin is developed in Uruguay and has not been released yet: once it reaches the App Store, these terms will apply to its use together with Apple's standard app license. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, write to us before using it.

1. What Berin is

Berin is a training app that treats your body as a system: gym routines and sessions, sleep and recovery read from Apple Health, and an AI assistant (Berin Guide) that knows your context and helps you decide how to train. It is available for iPhone only and is coming soon to the App Store.

2. No accounts: your data is yours

Berin does not require an account. Your routines, sessions and health data live on your iPhone. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

3. License to use

Once the app is available you may use it for your personal, non-commercial training. You may not resell the app, redistribute it or present it as your own. Downloads from the App Store are additionally subject to Apple's terms.

4. Berin is not medical advice

This is the most important section. The routines, loads and recommendations Berin shows (including those generated by the AI assistant) are training information adapted to the data you provide. They are not diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, and they do not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or health professional. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or feel pain or symptoms while exercising: stop and consult a professional. The training decisions you make are your responsibility.

5. The AI assistant

Berin Guide generates recommendations and routines with artificial intelligence models, and like any AI it can make mistakes. By design, no change applies on its own: every proposal arrives for you to review and approve or reject. Review proposals before approving them, especially weights and exercises.

6. Apple Health

Berin reads the Health data you authorize (heart rate, sleep, activity, workouts) in read-only mode: it never writes to Apple Health. You can revoke any permission at any time from Settings.

7. This site's waitlist

Joining the waitlist only means we will notify you when Berin is available. It does not guarantee access, a spot in a beta, or a release date, and you can opt out at any time. The screenshots on this site are real but use demo data, and features may change before launch.

8. Intellectual property

The Berin name, logo, app, copy and images on this site belong to its developer. Don't use them for another product or present them as your own.

9. No warranties and liability

The app and the site are provided as is. We do our best to keep the information accurate and the software working well, but we don't guarantee they are error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries or damages arising from training decisions made with Berin's information: train sensibly and listen to your body.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the app ships. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay.
